America’s favorite musical satirist, Randy Rainbow, is taking his act on the road! On The Pink Glasses Tour, the two-time Emmy-nominated singer, writer, and comedian will take on the hottest topics and skewer politicos of the day as only he can, as he brings his most viral video song parodies to life onstage.
Featuring live accompaniment by some of Broadway’s finest musicians, the show will also include personal stories, an audience Q&A, and brand new original songs written by Rainbow with Marc Shaiman (Hairspray, Mary Poppins Returns) and Alan Menken (Little Shop of Horrors, and Beauty and the Beast).

Mark Frangione, the Owner/Chef of the popular restaurant The Pelican Café, today announced that his award-winning restaurant, located at 612 US-1 in Lake Park (33403), will be hosting a private, invitation-only cocktail party and book-signing celebrating the publication of The Contemporary Singer’s Blueprint: From Amateur to Professional and Beyond written by popular cabaret star Jill Switzer. The fun event will be held from 5 to 6:30 pm on Saturday, September 17, followed by a public performance from 6:30 to 9 pm by The Switzer Trio. Directed by visionary Giancarlo Rodaz, designed by Broadway artists and performed by New York and Miami actors, this much-loved spectacle tells the story of Belle, a young woman in a small, provincial town, and the Beast, a young prince whose lack of compassion has trapped him in a spell placed by an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and to be loved, the spell will be broken and he will be freed from eternal doom.
Brilliantly adapted from the Academy Award-winning animated film, the stage version includes all the wonderful songs written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Menken and Tim Rice. The original Broadway production was nominated for nine Tony Awards, including
the one for best musical, and has been charming international audiences for decades.
