                                 LES MISÉRABLES AT BROWARD CENTER

         With glorious new staging and dazzling reimagined scenery inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo, this new production has been acclaimed by critics, fans and new audiences and is breaking box office records wherever it appears. It is spectacular from start to finish. This Les Misérables has improved with age. The story telling is clearer, the perspective grittier and the motivations more honest.  Musical theatre fans can rejoice: Les Mis’ is born again. 

         Les Misérables is an epic and uplifting story about the survival of the human spirit. This magnificent score includes the classic songs “I Dreamed a Dream,” “On My Own,” “ Stars,” “Bring Him Home,” “Do You Hear The People Sing?,” “One Day More,” “Empty Chairs at Empty Tables,” “Master Of The House,” and many more.

                                   ARTS BALLET THEATRE OF FLORIDA


         Artistic Director Vladimir Issaev has planned a challenging ballet season for returning and new audiences in their 2019-2020 Season, featuring Neo-Classical contemporary works of the XXI Century: 
“Eros Game” by Cuban choreographer Alberto Mendez, “Fuga con Pajarillo” with music by Venezuelan composer Aldemaro Romero, “Four Seasons” by Verdi and “ Shostakovich Suites.” All these pieces with choreography by Vladimir Issaev.

          For the past 21 years, Artistic Director Vladimir Issaev’s passion and commitment to bringing the best ballet productions has contributed to the success of Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida developing it as a solid organization where company dancers have also devoted their time and creativity. As a result, the South Florida area has a professional ballet company for all its residents to enjoy.

          Everyone’s favorite swashbuckling “Feline in Footwear” shines in this musical retelling of the classical tale by Charles Perrault. Discover how Puss gets his Bodacious Boots and Flashy Fedora, and then join him as he helps the Miller’s youngest son go from rags to riches.

         Can Puss convince the King that the poor Miller’s son is the Marquis de Carabas? Can he help the Miller’s son win the hand of the beautiful Princess and trick the Ogre out of his castle?

        The answers await you in this terrific “tail” of intrigue and cunning. The moral of the story is: There is a great advantage in receiving a large inheritance, but diligence and ingenuity are worth more than wealth acquired from others. 

        Tickets are $10 now on sale at the Actors Playhouse box office located at 280 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables.                             “CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY

         The Adrienne Arsht Center is thrilled to announce tickets will be available for Ronald Dahl’s Charlie and The Chocolate factory as early as October 18, 2019 at noon. 

         Charlie And The Chocolate Factory tells the story of Willy Wonka, world famous inventor of the Everlasting Gobstopper, who has just made an astonishing announcement. His marvelous and mysterious —factory is opening its a lucky few. That includes young Charlie Bucket, whose life definitely needs sweetening.

        He and four other golden ticket winners will embark on a mesmerizing, life-changing journey through Wonka’s world of pure imagination. Get ready for Oopa-Loompas, incredible inventions, the great glass elevator, and more, at this everlasting show stopper!

       The hit Broadway musical features songs from the original film, including “Pure Imagination,” “The Candy Man,” and “I’ve Got a Golden Ticket,” alongside a toe-tapping and ear-tickling new score from the songwriters from Hairspray.
